was a big help in creating this head study. I modeled it using
a basic sphere with a high mesh resolution and the usual `draw
pointer` and `move` buttons in the transform panel. 3Dlinks
puts up a page of links to ZBrush

A
very mixed bag of tricks this month including all different
types of artwork using many different package. One of the
newer applications I have been using is UVMapper to help create
coordinates for OBJ files.

Poser has a new lease of life on my machine. Having now aquired
Poser 4 and Poser Pro pack I have been busy creating Ogres
and Ogre
Fighting females.
The interesting thing about the new Poser istuff is that the
morphs for the heads have been created using ZBrush version
1.2. I have created a tutorial

Over recent weeks I have been working on a project
called `ZBrush ZBorg`.
Essentially it's a 2500x3600 image of a large robotic
creature carrying a basket ball! Hopefully you may get
to set it featured in the upcoming release of ZBrush1.23
and included in banner ads.

Figures in ZBrush? Naw, I don`t think
so? Well, take a look at the Poser/ZBrush
Gallery. I have been looking at importing .OBJ meshes
taken from poser and rendering tem in ZBrush. Thanks

Where
did the ZAcademy go? I came back from a trip and the damn
forum had gone. FBI? CIA? Who knows. The only redeeming factor
is that the ZBCentral has sprung up in it`s place. THis time
run by Pixolator himself.

Not
much activity this month. The new material factory is up and
running. The materials are for ZBrush version 1.2 and above
and at the time of writing the version stated has not been
released...ooops.

No
updates for a while due to pressure of work (and I got a bit
bored with all the FTP`ing)

All
the nw site graphics are in place now. It takes a lifetime to
replace everything in this site and I keep finding th odd grey
graphic lying around from the previous look.
Added this week, ZBrush Gallery number 7.
New and update tutorials pages. The latest tutorial covers how
to build a Clown Frill and th eresoources section now has
ZBrush Tools that
can be downloaded and used

Time for a full on site overhaul. New front page
graphics to help speed things up, less Java, flash and script
and more very small GIFs.
NEW this new year....the beginings of a tutorial page. I have
created a few ZBrush tutorials and posted them here.
