ZBRUSH MATERIAL FACTORY
This collection contains a series of materials in the native Zbrush format (.ZMT). The directories below show thumbnails of the materials followed by a name and a file size. The RGB columns shows the system colour setting used in the image. These colours can be adjusted in Zbrush by using the COLOUR>SYS PALETTE option or by pressing C on the keyboard.

REMEMBER!
all materials in Zbrush remain live, if you change any of the settings at a later stage, any part of the image containing that material will update. Click the name you wish to download. To use the material enter Zbrush, go to the MATERIAL palette and use LOAD.

I would advise keeping all your materials in the default Zbrush ZMaterial folder and create your own sub-directories for each `group` of materials eg. metals

TEXTURES AND MATERIALS COMBINED

Some sections of this resource collection contain both MATERIALS and an accompanying TEXTURE. In ZBrush an object (or ZTool) can be `wrapped` in a bitmap image (current formats include .BMP and .PSD). Where both are needed to achieve the effect I have given links to download a .BMP at 256x256 resolution and the ZMaterial need to get the desired effect for example:

This BEECH texture can be downloaded as a 256x256 .BMP image.

You would then use TEXTURE>IMPORT in ZBrush to bring the .BMP into the texture panel ready for use.

A BEECH MATERIAL will be available along side the TEXTURE. Download the .ZMT file and use MATERIAL>IMPORT in ZBrush to make the BEECH MATERIAL available for use. Select a ZTOOL and select both BEECH MATERIAL and BEECH TEXTURE to get the results shown to the right..

The 256x256 TEXTURES have been edited in Kai Power tools 3 seamless welder and can be seamlessly repeated or tiled.

To achieve this in ZBrush use TOOLS>MODIFIER>TEXTURE and set the HREPEAT and VREPEAT to settings greater than 1.
