originally approached Glen as we were interested in using one
of his excellent models in a technology demo we were developing.
It turned out that the specific model we requested didn't exist
in a form that was immediately useful to us so we were prepared
to be disappointed. Glen was excited by the project though and
created a new version of the model in very short time that was
perfect for our needs. I was very impressed by how quickly he
was able to generate such high quality work and also with his
willingness to participate in a project that had some very unique
requirements. The results of this collaboration can be seen in
the Subsurface Scattering demo on ATI's demo page here

of digital art techniques and a high degree of talent to match.
He also possesses a firm grasp of the features and techniques

| To
say that Glen Southern is one of the finest digital artists
I have ever had the privilege to meet would be an understatement.
I have met, and worked with, some of the best in the field and
Glen is definitely one of the top five artists I know. Glen
has helped bring ZBrush to the masses and his awe inspiring
artwork has made artists everywhere wish to learn this innovative
new program. ZBrush is not where Glen's talent ends, however,
as he is able to quickly learn any graphics application that
is laid before him. In just a few short weeks he was able to
learn Expression Tool's flagship product Shade Professional
and write a comprehensive review of the package. The artwork
he created while writing the review was so beautiful that Expression
Tools asked if they could use it in future promotional materials.
Glen has created many logo graphics for In Depth Arts and I
have always found him to be able to produce visually stunning
work at very short notice. Often he creates the artwork with
very little creative guidance from myself (sometimes just a
concept) and I have not been disappointed once. I truly believe
that Glen will be looked upon by his peers as one of the most
talented digital artists of our time. He is an innovator, a
teacher, and above all a friend.

I became a Client of Glen Southern, and handed him a rather large
and detailed project. Ever since the beginning Glen has been an
absolute pleasure to work with, walking me through the steps,
his ideas and designs. Glen
not only involved me with the project and catered to my needs,
I was also included on in the process wherever possible.
Needless
to say the first artwork has turned out phenominal and I; Not
only am one very happy and more than satisfied client, however
I have a clearer understanding of Glens professionalism, and
have taken some knowledge away with me that I can use in my
own study of the field and can apply to my own work.
