Back to Lightwave

It isn't easy building a Dragon. In fact, if I had known how hard it would be at the level I am currently at I would have waited for another few months until I had a better grasp of rigging, UV texturing and the animation process.

The modeling becomes easy when you have a graps of the basics of Sub D modeling. Get a grip of the tools available. Knife, Bandsaw, Stretch, move, Miroor copy, Smooth shif, bevel, etc..you need to master all of these before even attempting a full figure like a Dragon.

Big tip: always name the parts/surfaces as you go along. It makes life so much easier if half way through the project you want to select a tiny part ie. the tongue, if it has its own surface.
