| With
recent issues and commitments at home I have had to limit
the amount of time I spend online and even how much time I
dedicate to sketching and modeling. As 2007 creeps on I am
finding more time to get the site updated and catch up with
friends online. |

Friendsggraph 2006 was extremely successful
and we covered a lot of topics from rigging to character animation
to modeling. We had a great time and all of the attendees
gave us high points for the training.
We
asked the group what they would like to see the next year
and what we could do to improve... and we listened. We moved
the training closer to the "strip", and this year
we are covering a complete project from concept to render.
Glen Southern, renowned character designer
is creating an amazing robot warrior style character. Larry
Shultz will show us how to model this beast, while Dave
Jerrard and Nicholas Boughen texture and light it, and that's
just by day 2. Then we move on and Larry & Timothy both
show us there different rigging styles, and Timothy Albee
who has spent the last year animating cylons on Battlestar
Galactica will show you how to animating this Character.
We wrap up the last day with Jennifer Hachigian,
Tim Dunn and Dave Jerrard showing you how to apply dynamics
to the character and render the final scene.
This training will be much more than any
other training seminar on LightWave ever done. The caliber
of artists doing the training range from Spiderman III,
Battlestar Galactica, I Robot, and many many more to plugin
development and years of training experience.
This
is sure to be the training seminar that sets the bar for
all LightWave seminars from this point forward. Don't miss
this, this could be a once in a lifetime event. Did we mention
it is in Vegas?

UPDATE: A lot has happended over the Summer and Autumn of
2006 and all of it life changing. With the death of my Mum
and an illness in the family 3D Graphics have had to take
a back seat in my life. My 3D Modeling Forum www.subdivisionmodeling.com
has continued to grow without me attending every day. Many
thanks have to go to the hardcore moderators and back-room
boys namely Jason, Dave, Adam and Pat. Without these Sub-D
would have folded by now and gone the same way as so many
other forums.
I have been unable to commit to any new ZBrush training days
other than those I have done from my Studio here at home.
I have also decided to take a break form recording training
titles for a while. |

I have recently started to offer ZBrush
training to artists and Studios in mainland UK. This consultancy
based service is fully backed by Pixologic and the training
delivered is part of the syllabus that Pixologic
uses in the US and Canada. |
| The
training can be tailored to suit the audience and ranges from
a 2 hour overview of ZBrush that is suitable for universities
and serves as an introduction for people who have little awareness
of the programs capabilities. Up to a two day training course
with a structured syllabus that covers all the main features
of the program and uses practical exercises to demonstrate
each one (sometimes including un-released features where available) |
